Hello and welcome to the Swedish Club of WA!
First and foremost - thank you very much for being a member! The Swedish Club of Western Australia is an not for profit organisation entirely driven by membership fees and potential incomes from the events we hold. This means that your membership makes a big difference and helps us keep the club alive.
Now that you are a member, we want you to get as much out of your membership as possible. For this reason you will find a number of links that lead to more information about the club below.
We who work in the organization are Jonas, Figge, Christine and Tristan. If you’d like to get to know us a bit better, have a look at the Swedish Club’s blog on http://www.swedishclubofwa.com/blogg. We see the blog as a tool for us all to share, so if you're interested in writing a blog post about something close to heart, we're very happy to have you!
A few times a year, the Board sends out newsletters with information about upcoming events and other things that may be of interest to club members. We think this is a great way to communicate and disseminate information, and hope you will find it helpful. Even though you are now a member, your subscription will not be automatic - please feel free to head to http://www.swedishclubofwa.com/newsletters to register for it manually. If you have entered the correct email address, you will receive a confirmation email soon after clicking the 'Subscribe now' button.
Facebook is good way to connect with other members. The Swedish Club of WA has a Facebook page that you may want to 'Like'. We post information about events on there as well: https://www.facebook.com/swedishclubofwa/.
Thank you again for being a member. We are very grateful for any support we can get, and if you wish to be further involved in the club (either on the board or as a volunteer), please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Please contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions, if you want to write a blog post or if you just want to say hi!
