Hello and welcome to the Swedish Club in Perth!
The Swedish Club’s mission is to offer the chance to celebrate Swedish holidays and culture, on the other side of the globe. We offer opportunities for you and your family to speak Swedish, go to yabby parties, celebrate Lucia, National Day and midsummer, and enjoy a Christmas market, plus much more. If you have recently arrived from Sweden we can help you settle in.
There are many reasons to join the Swedish Club, and we hope you join today!
NEXT EVENT - Sunday 27 June.
Midsummer Celebrations. 11.00 - 14.00. Free for everyone.
John Leckie Pavilion, Corner of Melvista Avenue and Stone Road, Nedlands
As a not for profit organisation and entirely driven by membership fees and potential income from the events we hold. This means that your membership makes a big difference and helps to keep the club alive.
Please register your interest in renewing your membership by clicking the link button below and following the instructions for payment. The fee is $25 for single and $40 for family memberships. Annual memberships are valid until last day of June, regardless of when you decide to become a member.
Join the committee! Working on the committee is rewarding and fun - and of course, it also carries responsibility. But, without a functioning committee, there wouldn’t be a Swedish Club in WA.
Expectations of committee members:
Genuine interest in community work
Volunteer basis without remuneration expectation
Competent and professional
Kind and helpful character
Respect, admiration and gratitude!
Send us an email to let us know if you think this is for you: email@example.com
